Haggai’s Prophecy of the Temple (Haggai 2:1-9)
Haggai was the tenth prophet of The Twelve Prophets and he lived in the sixth century BC. His mission was to motivate the people to finish rebuilding the Second Temple. His Temple Prophecy was later interpreted to refer to Jesus Christ.
Malachi foretells the Mass (Malachi 1:10-11)
The Prophet Malachi spoke of a pure sacrifice that would be offered across the world. This was later understood to refer to the Sacrifice of the Mass.
The Prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 60:1-22)
Isaiah was one of Israel's greatest prophets. He warned of impending destruction but also spoke about the bright future that would follow. His book contains prophecies about the Messiah and is frequently quoted in the New Testament.

Jeremiah was one of the Four Major Prophets of Israel. He warned of Jerusalem's fall but also spoke about the return from exile and the coming of the Messiah.
The Arrival of a Great Prophet (Deuteronomy 18:13-22)
The book of Deuteronomy tells the story of the Israelites' time in the desert. It contains a reference to a future prophet who would be a lawgiver, leader, liberator, and miracle-worker. Christ later claimed to be that promised prophet.
The Birth in Bethlehem (Micah 5:1-5)
The Prophet Micah referred to a future ruler who will come from the town of Bethlehem and bring peace to the people. This prophecy is understood by Christians as a prediction of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.
The Prophet Ezekiel (Ezekiel 36:24-28)
Ezekiel, one of the Four Major Prophets of Israel, warned of Jerusalem's destruction, called the people to repentance, and offered hope for a life beyond exile.
The Stay in Egypt (Hosea 11:1-4)
In his gospel, St Matthew links the stay of the Holy Family in Egypt with a saying from the Prophet Hosea about the recall of God's Son from Egypt.
Balaam foresees a star (Numbers 22:1 – 24:25)
In the biblical story of the prophet Balaam, he blessed the Israelites and predicted the arrival of a future figure who would come to save them.
