The Life of St Peter

St Peter was a fisherman who became a disciple of Christ, who chose him to become an apostle and the leader of the Church.

After Jesus performed a miraculous catch of fish, he invited St Peter to become one of his disciples.

In his gospel, St John describes how a Jewish leader called Nicodemus went from being a secret disciple of Christ to publicly helping at his burial.
